Emory Healthcare Palliative Care Champions Program

Launched in 2010, the Emory Healthcare Palliative Care Champions Program focuses on bedside nurses who champion palliative care efforts on their units.  Champions receive specialized training in palliative care that they may pass on to patients, families and colleagues in their units.

The program is coordinated by Gwendolynn Harrell, Nurse Educator for the EHC Palliative Care Teams.
