Biography

Tricia Miller earned her MS in physician assistant studies in 2012 from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine after a 10-year career as a social worker, which included several years in pediatric hematology/oncology. As a PA, she has worked in hospital medicine, inpatient oncology, and since 2015 palliative care. In 2010, she co-founded and led Kids Runway for Research Inc., a nonprofit organization that has since raised more than $150,000 for cancer research. In 2017, she received a Jefferson Award for her work in community service. Miller joined Emory Palliative Care in 2021 and enjoys teaching and volunteer work. She is a member of the Emory Hospice and Palliative Care APP Fellowship Committee.
